Montou cave

The Montou Cave is a funny route in a fossil cave (water cannot enter). It allows us to introduce you to caving while having fun: labyrinthine network, crawling passages and two easy narrow passage. We will also introduce you to abseiling (12m pitch). Erosion and geological forms are amazing to observe. A caving route for adults, families with (pre-)teens : learning caving formation, building a team while discovering the underground world!

PLUS DE DONNEES TECHNIQUES SUR LA GROTTE DE MONTOU LIEU DE RDV : 66130 Corbère-Les-Cabanes. Vous recevrez le point GPS par sms lors de la réservation. MARCHE d'ACCES : Un sentier en montant de 15 minutes. En plein été, il n’y a pas d’ombre. MARCHE de retour : Un sentier montant puis descendant de 15 minutes environ. TEMPERATURE SOUS TERRE : 15°C NIVEAU PHYSIQUE : Accessible à toute personne en bonne santé ne présentant pas de contre-indication à la pratique de la spéléologie. Il faut pouvoir se mettre à 4 pattes ou s’allonger pendant des moments courts. NIVEAU EMOTIONNEL : Quelques passages étroits non oppressants. NIVEAU TECHNIQUE : Un puits de 12m et deux passages en vire CÔTÉ LUDIQUE : Parcours avec plusieurs options de franchissements ludiques. Grotte idéale pour faire du teambuilding ! QUE FAIRE DANS LES ALENTOURS : Visiter le four à chaux et le puits à glace de Corbère Aller se restaurer à Thuïr Visiter les caves de Birrh à Thuïr Aller se baigner au lac de Vinça (jeux gonflables) Visiter Villefranche-de-Conflent (à 20min)

Figuier cave
Medium level speleology
📍66500 Villefranche de Conflent
The Figuier Cave is a very interesting crossing route: we enter through the upper large fossil network (i.e. where the water can no longer come back), full of explanations about caving formation. We will then reach the lower level by a 10 m abseil. This lower galerie is totally different, expect some down-climbing and fun climbing with beautiful underground landscapes. You must be comfortable scrambling and grabbing easy natural holds.

MARCHE de retour : Idem. TEMPERATURE SOUS TERRE : 15°C NIVEAU PHYSIQUE : Accessible à toute personne en bonne santé ne présentant pas de contre-indication à la pratique de la spéléologie. Il faut pouvoir se mettre à 4 pattes ou s’allonger pendant des moments courts, faire des petites escalades faciles et se déplacer en opposition. NIVEAU EMOTIONNEL : Quelques passages étroits non oppressants. NIVEAU TECHNIQUE : Un puits de 7m CÔTÉ LUDIQUE : Parcours avec plusieurs options de franchissements ludiques.
