A true geological highlight: five 55°C thermal springs boast into the Thuès Canyon, mixing with the cold river! It's the only canyon in Europe with hot water.
Five abseiling down warm waterfalls, one after another, punctuated by delightful hot pools. Children will enjoy the small slides. The "grand final": a 25-meter waterfall !
A must-see canyon in our department, an ideal canyoning route for chilling out on a cool day and learning how to rappel.

MARCHE d'ACCES : 20min en montée puis 10 min à plat MARCHE de retour : 5 minutes à plat NIVEAU PHYSIQUE : Accessible à toute personne en bonne santé ne présentant pas de contre-indication à la pratique du canyoning. La marche en rivière et dans les blocs peut être glissante. Quelques passages de désescalade. NIVEAU EMOTIONNEL : La hauteur du dernier rappel peut être impressionnante. Pas de sauts. NIVEAU TECHNIQUE : 6 descentes en rappel et plusieurs lignes de vie. RESTAURATION dans les alentours: Restauration de type snack au parking des Gorges de la Carança. Restauration de type Brasserie à la Cigogne à Olette. Restauration traditionnelle simple au château de Nyer. Très bonne adresse au restaurant de Serdinya (menu unique). QUE FAIRE DANS LES ALENTOURS : Randonner dans les Gorges de la Carança (1h à 4h) Se baigner aux eaux chaudes de St Thomas Visiter le village classé de Evol Visiter le charmant village de Nyer Embrayer sur un parcours de spéléologie à Villefranche (-10% sur la deuxième activité). Visiter Villefranche de Conflent (Ville médiévale fortifiée)
